FORTY-NINE .22 cartridges were seized during and operation conducted by members of the Mobile Reserve and a team of police from the Kingston Western Division yesterday morning.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the find and have since been charged with illegal possession of ammunition.
The police are advising residents of the division and its environs to pay attention to strange persons in their communities.
